Two codes in the same region
702 and 725 share the same numbering region, generally Clark County. Ten-digit local dialing began in May 2014, with 725 number assignments beginning June 3, 2014. Existing 702 numbers did not have to change.
The overlay itself did not change call prices. A preferred area code is a branding decision, not a different level of telephone service.

The Strip and the city are not identical
Much of the Strip lies in unincorporated Paradise and Winchester. Downtown Las Vegas is a different setting, and Henderson, North Las Vegas, and Boulder City have their own local contexts.
Use a real business address and a clear service-area description. A 702 number is not proof that a caller is on the Strip or that a business is affiliated with a particular hotel.
What the location on a listing means
A number’s catalog location describes its numbering geography. It does not guarantee a specific premises or the present location of the person answering it.
Ask the receiving provider to check the exact number for your intended service. Publish all ten digits, and include the +1 format for international guests where appropriate.
